Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Speech to Text.

Which browsers support speech to text?

Speech recognition works best in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on computers and Android, and in Safari on iPhone and iPad. Firefox does not currently support it.

Is my voice recorded or stored?

MintSEOPro does not record or store your audio. Your browser sends the speech to its own recognition service, for example Google's in Chrome, to turn it into text, following that browser's privacy policy.

How can I get better accuracy?

Use a good microphone or headset, speak at a steady pace, reduce background noise, and choose the correct language and accent. Say punctuation words like "comma" or "full stop" if your browser supports them, or add punctuation afterwards.

Why did it stop listening?

Browsers may stop after a period of silence or if the connection drops. The tool restarts automatically while you are in a session, but if it stops completely, click Start Listening again.
